Holiday in CHristchurch, June 2010

It was a great break, with many varied experiences driving in the rain, in the sleet and then in the light snow. It was exhilarating! It was really amazing to learn later that many of the passes that we had to travel on were closed due to heavy snow, while some areas were actually flooded. We were spared from such closures. PTL!

We saw beautiful scenes, mountains, lakes and the different passes, each with its individual beauty. It is bearthtaking to see such beatuiful sceneries.

Most importantly, we had a good rest, enjoying each other's company. It was a time much needed for us to just catch up and relax together.

Praise God for His Goodness for WRS Sports Day 2010

The day has finally come and gone. It was a splendid day. The weather was fine and the event went smoothly.

What I really liked best was to see the smile on the faces of the students as they sat in the gallery... Despite the hot day, most were seen participating in the class cheers and also cheering on their classmates.

During the planning of the event, I was quite stretched, but I was reminded that I should remain calm and submit it to God as He is the one who would bless the work of our hands as we focus on Him...

I am truly grateful that all things have turned out well. To God be the glory!

Dedication by SCEPTRE

Chiangmai '09

Just had a trip to Bangkok and Chiangmai. It was really a good time for Wendy and I to catch up. It's been a hectic year, and I'm really grateful that my 'boss' was very gracious to excuse me from the training tour to give me this time off.

We spent 5 days in Bangkok, just wandering around, visiting Chatuchak, and the various malls. It wasn't the shopping we're after. It was just spending time together visiting the old haunts we used to do couple of years ago (hoping to get a good purchase). We walked a lot...

The second part to Chiangmai was really great! We stayed in Horizon Village, Doi Saket, 2o minutes out of down town. It was a good place to relax. It's chalet style, with each unit opening into the garden. The weather was just nice. We spent much time in the resort before going out in the evening to the Night Bazaars...

All in all, we had a great time, and we are looking forward to go back there again!
